 What to Expect in the Final Exam

The official CHFM examination is a rigorous, computer-based assessment administered in a secure, proctored testing center. It consists entirely of multiple-choice questions designed to test both factual knowledge and practical application within clinical scenarios. The examination consists of a total of 110 questions. However, only 100 of these questions are scored. The remaining 10 questions are unscored pretest items used by the AHA for statistical data collection for future exam development. Candidates are given a strict time limit of two hours to complete the examination. To pass, you must achieve a scaled score of at least 700 on a range that extends from 200 to 800. This is a closed-book examination, meaning no external study aids or reference materials are allowed during the test.
