Core areas covered in the program include Leadership, Cyber (digital officer safety, digital evidence), Driver Training (risk and high-risk vehicle stops, collision investigation, driving skills), and Investigative Operations (crime scene preservation, drug identification, prison processing).

FLETC UPTP Exam 1 specifically acts as a critical benchmark, typically focusing on foundational legal concepts and the Behavioral Science Division (BSD) curriculum. This exam, along with all others, is administered only to enrolled students on site at one of the main Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers. The primary headquarters is located in Glynco, Georgia, with other residential training sites in Artesia, New Mexico, and Charleston, South Carolina, and an additional training facility in Cheltenham, Maryland. You must be present at your designated FLETC training center to sit for the exam.
