What to Expect in the Final Exam

The final certification test is completely computer-based and consists entirely of multiple-choice questions.

If you choose to take all four sections in one sitting, you will be given approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes of total testing time.

Specifically, you are allotted 65 minutes for Language Arts and Reading, 65 minutes for Social Science, 70 minutes for Science, and 70 minutes for Mathematics.

To pass, you must achieve a minimum scaled score of 200 on each individual subtest.

Please note that no outside calculators are allowed; an on-screen calculator will be provided during the Mathematics section.
