This course and exam require a deep, practical understanding of networking technologies and authentication protocols used in hybrid environments.  What to Expect in the Final Exam

The final LPIC-3 300 exam is a challenging assessment of both your theoretical knowledge and practical application skills. It does not include performance-based labs, but the questions are designed to simulate real-world troubleshooting and configuration scenarios.

Exam Format: The exam consists of 60 questions, which are a combination of multiple-choice (single and multiple answer) and fill-in-the-blank questions.

Passing Score: The passing score is 500 on a scale of 200 to 800.

Time Limit: You are allotted 90 minutes to complete the examination.

Prerequisites: You must hold an active LPIC-2 certification to be eligible to receive your LPIC-3 certification.

 How to Study and Exam Centers

Preparation for the LPIC-3 300 must go beyond simply reading a book.

Because this is a senior-level exam, hands-on experience is mandatory. We highly recommend building a virtual lab environment using hypervisors like KVM or VirtualBox. In this lab, you should practice configuring a Linux machine to act as an Active Directory Domain Controller and joining Windows clients to it using Samba 4.
