Preparing for the NREMT Paramedic exam requires mastering a diverse curriculum covering medical emergencies, trauma, and advanced life support procedures.

Note that in many states, you must successfully complete a separate, state-approved psychomotor (practical skills) exam before being eligible to take the NREMT cognitive exam

The actual NREMT Paramedic Cognitive Exam is a unique and challenging experience.

The number of questions can range from 80 to 150, and you will have a maximum time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the test.

The passing standard is set by the NREMT and is based on demonstrating minimum competency; there is no fixed passing percentage, and you will receive "Pass" or "Fail" results.
