What to Expect in the Final Exam

The PTCB Medication History Certificate Exam is a computer-based assessment. You must be prepared to commit a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes, which includes a 5-minute tutorial, 1 hour and 20 minutes for the exam itself, and a 5-minute post-exam survey.

The exam consists of 70 multiple-choice questions.

The scores are reported on a scaled range from 0 to 400. To pass, you must achieve a scaled score of 300 or higher.

You will receive your official score report immediately following the completion of the exam. If successful, you will be able to download your certificate and digital badge. Unsuccessful candidates can retake the exam after paying the full exam fee again, with no required waiting period between attempts.
